 Over 200 ladies and gentlemen converged upon the Athens State University Ballroom for the first annual Pink Elephant Luncheon. This luncheon is a partnership with ALH and the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer. Heidi Floyd, the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer’s Development Ambassador was the guest speaker at the event. Her job is simply put, to spread the word across the nation about this amazing Foundation and the research it funds. All breast cancer survivors were honored at the event with a carnation and Vera Bradley scarf. We are pleased to announce that this event raised $7,000 for breast cancer research.
